Carriage Bolt Hot Dip Galvanized Square Shoulder Screw for Bridge Wooden Components


Hot dip galvanized square shoulder carriage bolts are premium fasteners tailored for bridge wooden structures and outdoor heavy‑duty construction. Made of high‑strength carbon steel, they go through strict production procedures including raw material cutting, forging, thread rolling and precise shaping of round head and square neck. Before galvanizing, surface degreasing and pickling remove rust and impurities, then bolts are soaked in molten zinc at around 450°C to form a tight anti‑corrosion coating, greatly extending service life in humid and open-air environments.


The unique square shoulder design locks firmly into wooden components, stopping the bolt from rotating during nut tightening and enabling easy one‑side installation. With stable mechanical performance and excellent rust resistance, they are widely applied in bridge wooden beams, timber frame connections, guardrail installation and large wooden engineering projects.
